Biography
Nutritionist, Associate Professor at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). CNPq Research Productivity Scholarship – PQ 1 level, one of the most prestigious grants from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), intended for researchers with consolidated and outstanding scientific production in Brazil. PhD from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) and postdoctoral internship at the Human Nutrition Research Unit.

from the University of Alberta (Canada). He has experience as coordinator of the Undergraduate Course in Nutrition (USF), coordinator of the Lato Sensu Postgraduate Course in Clinical and Sports Nutrition (UFG) and coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Nutrition and Health (stricto sensu) at UFG. Consultant in the Nutrition Area of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) and ad hoc reviewer for CNPq, the Foundation for Research Support of the State of Goiás (FAPEG) and the Foundation for Research Support of the Federal District (FAPDF), evaluating research projects and grant applications in the area of Nutrition. He has over 12 years of experience in conducting randomized clinical trials, investigating dietary interventions, including nutritional supplements.
